Move Up to Where it is a Reality

We’re breaking through into a new realm of God. Position is being removed and we’re learning to function with a commission. It is no longer a one-man show. His Word is coming through many channels.

The Israelites wanted a king like the other nations (I Samuel 8:4-5). That is the way most congregations are today. They want a king as other churches do. They want someone to be their “pastor-king.” They want him to get the Word from God and preach to them. Then they can listen to it and go home. They have done their duty, and they don’t have to get involved. It is not that way in the Kingdom. Everyone is to be involved. Everyone is to become a channel for the movings of God. We are not going to be spectators. This is the beginning of a new realm of the Kingdom.

Things are changing! God says, “I change not!” (Malachi 3:6). But He sure changes things! And we are the things He is changing. We are learning to think differently. We are learning to live in the now-realm.

Prophetic utterance is changing, too. In the past, prophecy has been mostly predictive. Kingdom prophecy, though, is on a higher level. Kingdom prophecy takes that which is past and that which is future and brings it into the present. The majority of Christianity is talking about what will happen one day in the future, but we’re excited about what’s happening right now!

II Peter 1:2-3 Grace and peace be multiplied unto you through the knowledge of God, and of Jesus our Lord,
3 According as His divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness…

There isn’t anything else that God has to do. It has all been provided. It is just a matter of us moving up to where it is a reality.

People want to see the signs and wonders in the natural world, but what God is doing is taking place in His people. The signs and wonders that are real are taking place in His saints. God is building Himself a sanctuary, a place where He can dwell. And He doesn’t want us to be vessels that only enhouse His presence. We are becoming channels for Him to flow through, that He may be a blessing to others. That is the will of God. He wants to function through His people.

Many are talking about a second outpouring of the Holy Spirit in the future. I don’t think it will happen that way. It is already done. It is a matter of moving up to where it is a reality. People will thirst after the Lord. They will drink of Him to overflowing, and out of their most inner being will flow rivers of living water. Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto Me, and drink. He that believeth on Me, as the Scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. But this spake He of the Spirit, which they that believe on Him should receive… John 7:37-39.

Acts 1:13,14; 2:1,4 And when they (the disciples) were come in, they went up into an upper room…
14 these all continued with one accord in prayer and supplication…
2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.
4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost…

“When the day of Pentecost was fully come” in the original reads: When the day of Pentecost was being fulfilled. God was not waiting for a particular day in a particular year to pour out His Spirit. His Spirit was already poured out on a realm above the disciples. It was a matter of the disciples rising up spiritually to where the reality was already happening. The day of Pentecost was fulfilled in the upper room. They went up into an upper room (1:13). There was a spiritual upper room where the Spirit was already poured out. They were praying and worshiping God. They moved up to where it was a reality. If the outpouring of the Holy Spirit only depended upon a certain day of the year, everyone in Jerusalem would have received the Holy Spirit. Peter stood up and said, This is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of My Spirit upon all flesh… (Acts 2:16-17). Was the Spirit poured out upon all flesh? Yes, upon all flesh that moved up to where it was a reality. There were literally thousands of other people there, but they didn’t receive the Holy Spirit. They didn’t move up to where it was a reality. The Holy Spirit is poured out upon all flesh that moves up to where it is a reality.

Everything that God has for His people is already provided. He doesn’t need to do anything else. If you want God’s provision for you, move up to where it is already a reality.
