The Life-Realm Is Not Just Another Link

Isaiah 42:9 Behold, the former things are come to pass, and new things do I declare: before they spring forth I tell you of them.

Isaiah 43:18-19 Remember not the former things, neither consider the things of old.
19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall you not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.

Philippians 3:7-8 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.
8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ.

We have talked about the need to count all as loss in order to move into the Life-Realm of the Lord. This was somewhat difficult for some to receive because it not only meant counting as loss that which had been a blessing to us, but also our present relationship with the Lord. In the past we have always endeavored to progress in our relationship with Him, moving on into spiritual maturity was our hearts’ desire. And now we find it necessary to abandon even the spiritual progress that has been a way of life to us. Some, no doubt, have wondered why such a drastic step was necessary. The following is what the Lord spoke to my heart as to why it was needful.

Psalm 102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord.

Matthew 24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

Psalm 102:18 speaks of a generation to come, a people that shall be created. Then, in Matthew 24:34, Jesus said, “This generation (literal: race) shall not pass.” The word “generation” literally means “race.” God is creating a new race of people, a people with His nature. A message concerning this is in the book “A New Race of People.” (If you want the book, all you have to do is write Open Heavens Ministries and ask for it.)

In a unique way, God’s dealings with Abraham parallels His dealings with us at this time. Abraham was in the land of Ur of Chaldees when God called him. God’s plan was to create a new nation, and Abraham was to be the father of that new nation. In order to do this it was necessary for God to cut Abraham off from everything he knew. He was severed from his old life. God told him to leave his country, his kindred, his father’s house, and He would make of him a new nation, a new race of people (Genesis 12:2). Even after Abraham left there were more separations that took place on his journey to a land he did not know and a relationship with God that he did not know. This total separation was necessary for Abraham to be the beginning of a new race of people. Had he remained in the land of Ur of Chaldees when God called him, he would have been just another link in the same chain.

Now, let’s take a look at church history beginning with the Dark Ages. The Dark Ages was a time of spiritual darkness and idolatry, as was Ur of Chaldees. Out of that darkness came Martin Luther and what is known as the Lutheran Movement. Out of it came the Wesley’s and the Methodist Movement. Out of the Methodists came the Holiness, and out of the Holiness came the Pentecostals. Out of the Pentecostals came what is known as the Latter Rain and the Move of God. All of these have proceeded out of the Dark Ages. Each was a link in the chain from Darkness to Modern Christianity. Even though the move of progress involved the leadership of the Holy Spirit, it carried a seed of the Darkness. It was a mixture of good and evil like the Tree of Knowledge in the Garden of Eden.

The Life-Realm set before us must not be a further extension or another link of the chain. There must be no connection with the Darkness. The Life-Realm is the dwelling place for the new race of people that God is creating. We cannot carry a seed from the realm of mixture into the Life-Realm. God will not allow that! Therefore, we must be totally separated from the old. And, of course, that separation takes place in us. Everything of our flesh-nature will oppose the severing of the old. But this cutting off is the true sanctifying process. This Life-Realm is our true inheritance. Give thanks to our Father for preparing us for this Realm of His Life. Giving thanks unto the Father, which has made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light: who has delivered us from the power of darkness, and has translated us into the Kingdom of His dear Son. Colossians 1:12-13.
