When the Scriptures say that the Word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, or
any of the other prophets, it must not be thought of as merely
communication from God to him. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Word! This
means that Christ came many times even in the Old Testament. I Peter
1:10-12 confirms this. So there were many comings of the Lord before He
appeared as Jesus the Nazarene, and there have been many comings of the
Lord since then.
How many comings of the Lord are you looking for? Do not expect just one! Look for Him to come to you every day. This second book shows how the Lord comes to us.
